Castelvecchio Wine Estate

Visit and free tasting every day from April to October and, on request , the rest of the year.

This route shows the production of different wines (white , rosé , red , vin Santo ) from the vineyard to bottling .

Pasta Factory Martelli

Location Lari only 10 minutes by car ( Km. 4,7 )

Visit and free tasting from Monday to Friday by appointment from September to July (excepted holidays)

This route shows the production of pasta from semolina to packaging.

Estimated time : 15 minutes.

You can buy pasta in authorized dealers within walking distance of pasta factory and/or at our resort.

Savini-Truffle Experience

Location Forcoli only 15 minute by car ( Km.11,3 )

Visit Savini Museum + outing in the woods + lunch of truffle €.65,00/ person (from January to September); €.85,00/person (from September to December – White Truffle period) Monday to Friday morning by appointment.

The route briefly explains the history of the family Savini, truffle hunters of fourth generation, and the production of all materials obtained from this exceptional fruit of nature; following a trip of about an hour and a half in the woods in the company of their funny dog to discover our territory and the plants that favor the birth of truffle. Finally a real lunch of truffle: appetizer, pasta, eggs and cake. Optional menu , by reservation , for those who don’t like truffles (price depends on request).

Piaggio Museum

The building in which the Piaggio Museum is located today is a former tooling shop, one of the oldest facilities of the Piaggio factory in Pontedera. In 2000, it was converted into a centre for arts and culture to house the Museum.

The Museum’s permanent collection of historic vehicles attracts growing numbers of devotees and tourists from all over the world, while the Historic Archive, one of the most important corporate archives in Italy, contains full records on the company’s history and as such is an excellent tool for conserving local and national memory.

The Piaggio Foundation wants to strengthen the ties between business, culture and the community by organising temporary exhibitions, conferences and popular cultural events, in cooperation with local authorities and associations.

The Piaggio Museum is a place to visit, to experience and to interpret. It offers a fascinating journey through the history of a great Italian company and through Italian mores since the Second World War, a journey that will leave the visitor with food for thought.

Golden Jumping Team

Immersed in the Valdera countryside, in the municipality of Capannoli (PI) the Golden Jumping Team A.S.D. was founded, one of Tuscany’s best equitation schools.

The Equestrian Club, in the shade of its pines and poplar trees, offers a prestigious equitation school for children and adults (affiliated F.I.S.E. and CONI). A staff of three federal instructors offer the possibility of individual or group lesson for either beginners or advanced riders that have started an agonistic activity.
The Riding Club has up to eight hectares of which three are dedicated to horse breeding. We have 35 stables, 5 washing stations that are equipped with drying lamps, horse carousel, indoor riding hall, sand arena and a 1 km track.
Available for our members, there is a spacious club house that offers to large changing rooms that include showers and a spacious office.

It is noted that for the daily lesson the cost of the insurance (mandatory) will be of € 5,00 .

Cost subscription for n° 5 lesson € 100,00 (insurance included ).
